Getting rid of my first car, I've had it for ~5 years and it has served me well. Now that I am out of school, and moving up with my career, I have upgraded to a newer vehicle.
Pros:
- V6, for it's size and year it's actually pretty zippy.
- Loaded, block heater, power windows, locks, seats, mirrors, great AC and heat, surprisingly awesome speakers, though it has the factory deck.
- Reasonable kilometres for year. Starts right up, though it does need the block heater for some of the more extreme winter days.
- Brand new tires, less than a year. Very nice Michelin all-seasons.
- Regularly maintained, oil always changed well before being due.
Cons:
- Could use a new oil pan, it's a very slow leak - but it's a leak nonetheless, I put oil in it last June, and the stick is now reading a little low. Not too bad.
- Burns a little oil, as is typical of a car this age.
- Exterior rust isn't too bad, though there is one spot that really sucks on the passenger side door, see picture.
Otherwise, this is a solid first car that easily has at least another 100,000 clicks in it.
